What is Statement Nail & Wax Lounge?
Statement is a modern, design-forward salon offering expert nail and waxing services in a space created for care, comfort, and confidence. Every detail—from our service menu to our lounge atmosphere—is designed to help you look and feel your best.
Where are you located?
We’re located at 3365 Richmond Road, Suite 120, Beachwood, OH 44122. You’ll find us in the Beachwood Collective Plaza near the corner of Richmond and Chagrin, which also features Heck’s restaurant.
Do you take walk-ins?
We welcome walk-ins when availability allows, but we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time and service provider.
Are animals allowed to accompany guests into the salon?
We love our furry friends, but for the comfort and safety of all guests, only trained service animals are permitted inside the salon. Thank you for understanding!
Booking & Policies
How can I book an appointment?
You can book online anytime or by calling the salon during business hours.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us accommodate other guests. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee. For full details, please see our Cancellation & No-Show Policy.
Do you require a deposit?
All services and group bookings require that a credit card be put on file at the time of scheduling. We do not charge your card until the day of your service.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Statement gift cards.
Nail Services
What brands of polish do you use?
We proudly feature Madam Glam for gel and Dazzle Dry for traditional lacquer—two of the cleanest, highest-performing lines in the industry. Both are vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without many of the harsh chemicals found in conventional polishes. We also carry a curated selection of the most-loved OPI shades in both gel and traditional lacquer.
Do you remove acrylics or dip powder from other salons?
Yes — we can safely remove enhancements from other salons, though additional time and a fee apply.
Can I look at your color selection before I come into the lounge?
Yes! You can explore our full nail color palette online before your visit. Our website features all the Madam Glam, Dazzle Dry, and curated OPI shades that we carry so you can browse colors and plan your look ahead of time. This makes it easy to pick your favorites or coordinate your polish with an outfit or event before you arrive.
Can I bring in nail design inspiration photos?
Absolutely. We love when clients share ideas—it helps us customize your look. You can submit any nail art ideas you are considering while booking your online appointment or email them to us in advance at contact@statementnails.com. This allows our nail designers to plan for your artwork ahead of your visit, ensuring the best possible results.
Waxing Services
What kind of wax do you use?
We use Mermaid Wax, a premium hard wax line known for its gentle yet effective performance. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and designed to grip the hair—not the skin—making for a smoother, more comfortable experience with less irritation.
How should I prepare for my wax?
Let your hair grow to at least ¼ inch (about two weeks of growth). Gently exfoliate a day or two before, avoid heavy lotions the day of, and wear loose clothing to your appointment.
Can I get waxed if I’m using acne or anti-aging products?
Some oral and topical medications can make your skin more sensitive and prone to lifting. Refer to our Waxing Prep Guide for everything you need to know before you get waxed.
How often should I get waxed?
Every 4–6 weeks is ideal for smooth, consistent results.
Does waxing hurt?
A little — but much less when done regularly. Our specialists use high-quality waxes and techniques that make the experience as quick and comfortable as possible.
Waxing Aftercare
What should I do after waxing?
Avoid heat, friction, and sun exposure for 24 hours. That means no hot showers, intense workouts, or tanning right away. Keep the area clean, wear loose clothing, and moisturize gently.
How can I make my wax last longer?
Regular exfoliation and hydration help reduce ingrown hairs and keep your skin smooth between visits.
Massage
What types of massage do you offer?
We offer 30-, 60-, and 90-minute Aromatherapy Relaxation Massages, each designed to calm the body, quiet the mind, and release everyday tension. Every session is customized with your choice of aromatherapy and optional Hot Stone Upgrade for deeper relaxation and warmth.
What is the difference between relaxation and therapeutic massage?
Relaxation massage is focused on soothing the nervous system, improving circulation, and easing muscle tension through long, flowing strokes and light-to-medium pressure. It’s ideal for stress relief, rest, and restoring balance.
Therapeutic or deep tissue massage, by contrast, targets specific areas of tension or injury and involves firm pressure and clinical techniques to treat muscle dysfunction.
At Statement, we specialize exclusively in relaxation massage—creating an experience that’s restorative, intentional, and deeply relaxing, not medical or corrective.
Can I add hot stones to my massage?
Yes! The Hot Stone Upgrade enhances your relaxation massage with warm, smooth stones that help melt away muscle tension and promote a deeper sense of calm.
How should I prepare for my massage?
Arrive a few minutes early to settle in, hydrate well, and communicate any preferences to your massage therapist.
Gift Cards & Other
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Statement gift cards are available in any amount and make the perfect gift. They can be purchased in-salon or online.
Do you have memberships or packages?
Yes! The BOLD Membership Club is Statement’s elevated loyalty experience — designed for guests who make self-care a priority and want consistent value with every visit.
What benefits do members enjoy?
- $99 monthly fee added to your personal BOLD Fund, which you can spend on services or products.
- 20% or more off every service, treatment, and retail product.
- Priority scheduling privileges: reserve recurring appointments, lock in your preferred technician and time slot; cancel up to 8:00 AM on the day of service with no penalty.
- A welcome gift upon joining, plus members-only events, early promo access and curated surprises throughout the year.

How does membership work?
- Membership includes a one-year commitment. After the first year, it rolls month-to-month with a 30-day cancellation notice.
- Your monthly fee automatically funds your BOLD Fund, which you can use at any time.
- If you cancel and later re-join, a new one-year commitment will apply.
